  • Mobile value-added services provider Handygo has launched a new video caller application that enables incoming calls to a mobile phone to be accompanied by an audio-video clip.

 

  • MSN India has a new design for its home page with options of a wide or narrow layout and of changing the colour of the page.

 

  • Sify has announced the change of its name from Sify Limited to Sify Technologies Limited. According to Sify, this is in line with the company’s strategy to position itself as a technology company with deep expertise in IT infrastructure management.

 

  • Sify Technologies Limited has appointed M P Vijay Kumar as chief financial officer.

 

  • Jobs portal TimesJobs.com has launched BossMeter.net, an open contest where employees can nominate their boss in the great bosses’ list and ask their colleagues to vote.   • Interactive marketing agency Percept Knorigin has launched an ad network company called AdChakra Advertising Network. AdChakra’s services would include search engine advertising and display advertising with campaign management and reporting facilities. The ad network company is based in India with offices in Mumbai, Bangalore and Delhi.

 

  • Computer Associates (CA), an IT management software company, Wednesday launched a new campus of India Technology Center (ITC), making it the largest development facility of the company in the world.

 

  • ITC  has developed a mobile device management (MDM) product, which can manage an entire corporate mobile infrastructure from a single consol.
